Had a remarkable week of music in Colorado- The Rocky Mountain Folks Fest and the Triple A Radio conference left me with some real inspiration. I’m headed back through Wyoming to Victor, ID to open for Carolyn Wonderland on Thurs, Aug 19th. On the way, I’ll be stopping in for a performance and interview with Grady Kirkpatrick at WPR- 11.15am, Monday, Aug 16th!

I Can’t Pray

As produced by Rich Brotherton, Margo Valiante’s blues on five-song EP I Can’t Pray favor the Bonnie Raitt/Americana style. That’s a comfortable and expressive place for Valiante to be since relocating to Austin. With warm organ work from Riley Osbourn and supple suede vocals, there’s an overall soulfulness that buys her a ticket into the ranks of Austin’s established female vocalists.

I’m so excited to finally be playing back east again…it’s been way way too long. The kick-off show is at none other than the Rockwood Music Hall in NYC on May 24th, featuring the amazing Ross Martin on guitar with me! Please be sure to keep checking the schedule as many more dates will be added in the coming weeks…NY, MA, PA, NC, KY, TN, KS, CO, WY…I’ll be solo the whole way unless I pick up some stragglers!
